What materials are used for mobile prefabricated houses?
2025-6-13
1. Main structure material
1. Frame material
- Light steel structure: Commonly used galvanized steel or cold-bent thin-walled steel, light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance and good shock resistance.
- Aluminum alloy: used for lightweight frames or connectors, rust-proof and easy to process, but with high cost.
2. Connectors
- Bolts, screws, angle codes, etc. are mostly made of galvanized or stainless steel to ensure a stable structure.
2. Wall and roof materials
1. Outer sheet
- Color steel plate: The surface is galvanized steel plate + coating (resistant to rust), inner sandwich material (such as polystyrene/EPS, rock wool, polyurethane/PU).
- EPS sandwich panel: light insulation, low cost, but poor fire resistance.
- Rock wool/glass wool sandwich panel: fire-proof and sound-proof, suitable for high temperature or high safety requirements.
- Polyurethane sandwich plate: excellent insulation performance, high strength, but high price.
- Metal veneer: such as galvanized plates and aluminum plates, they need to be used with independent insulation layer.
- PVC board: lightweight and waterproof, mostly used for interior walls or temporary partitions.
2. Waterproof treatment
- Commonly used asphalt coils, PVC waterproof membranes or special waterproof coatings on the roof to prevent leakage.
3. Floor materials
1. Base layer sheet*
- Cement fiberboard: moisture-proof and compressive-resistant, often used in the bottom layer.
- OSB board (directional particle board): economical and durable, and requires moisture-proof treatment.
2. Surface material
- Floor leather, PVC floor mats, epoxy floor paint, or direct laying of ceramic tiles (long-term use scenarios).
4. Doors and window materials
- Profile: aluminum alloy or plastic steel, taking into account both lightness and sealing.
- Glass: Single-layer or double-layer hollow glass, and some scenes are tempered glass to enhance safety.
- Sealing strip: Rubber or silicone material for waterproof and sound insulation.
5. Auxiliary materials
1. Insulation and insulation materials
- Rock wool, glass wool, XPS extruded panels (for walls or roof mezzanines).
2. Fireproof materials
- Fireproof gypsum board, flame retardant coating, or use Class A fireproof sandwich panels (such as rock wool boards).
3. Sealing and bonding materials
- Glass glue, foam glue, sealant strips for gap filling.
4. Anti-corrosion and rust treatment
- Galvanized layer, anti-rust paint (for steel structures), extending service life.
VI. Other functional materials**
- Electrical wiring: PVC wire pipes, flame retardant cables.
- Water supply and drainage: PPR pipe, PVC drainage pipe.
- Decorative materials: light steel keel + gypsum board (interior wall decoration), or environmentally friendly paint.
